Good I am glad. Yeah currently I am about to install the new NON-MIM Extractor and Vang Comp SS Follower that arrived today... a day early as usual. :D

I've been looking at the Mesa and the GG@G. I like the slant/cant of the GGG but not sure I care for how it is installed. Mesa looks more finished on the left side. GGG just has the end of the screws showing and even thoght the GGG can be loctited, just seems to me that Mesas has a better set up. I sure like the cant of GGG though.
Any thoughts on this difference from anyone?????

I have one on order (Mesa 6). Wonder if it would interfere with the Knoxx forend? Using the Hogue now.

So after the first time at the range, I shot maybe 50 rounds before i noticed one of the reciever bolts was about to fall out. I blue loctited the bolts. If they still loosen it might be a problem.

Yeah, each one of those little screws needs to be taken out and reinstalled with locktite, right out of the packaging. Otherwise, they'll start falling out the first time you shoot with it.

On-topic, how far out does the Mesa Tactical carrier extend from the receiver, Rythomas0704?
If I get the Mesa Tactical one do I need to install it with locktite? Or, only if I buy the Tacstar?

On my TacStar, I locktite the small screws that hold the shell carrier to the baseplate, but I only use a thread lubricant on the threads for the two mounting screws. I've never had a problem with those coming loose if they're installed properly, but I have seen them get stripped out very easily; so I try to be as gentle as possible with those fragile aluminum threads.

Agreed on that. With the mesa saddle its those action screws that loosen up.
