What Upgrades to Police Magnum?

So does the police marine magnum come with the heavier police springs? Or
Do they just use the aluminum trigger guard with plated express parts?
If they make a nickel sear and carrier spring then I could just order them for an easy upgrade.

all the marine magnums come with the same trigger parts coated...hammer, sear spring ,carrier dog spring etc... heavy sear springs does not come anymore in the police...the standard 4-5lb comes for the police and express ...
advice ... don't get into the hype train... anything that can discharge the 4-5lb standard spring most likely can do the same for the 7lb heavy spring...food for thought...
if you want the heavier sear spring (reddish orange ) you can get it at midways for around 6. $ ...they have a good selection of parts or at the Remington shop store...

So what your saying is that no 870s come now with heavier sear and carrier springs whether they are marine coated or not? Did they ever make those springs in nickel?

yes...that's what i'm saying...
yes...the standard 4-5lb and the standard carrier dog follower spring come nickel coated in the marine magnum...

the police heavy sear spring and the 1100 carrier dog follower spring does not come nickel coated...

Just installed my Hogue forend and full size stock. Much better than the factory stock.
It's starting to come along. Just a few more small upgrades.
