20 GA mag extension advice.
Got the wife a 20 GA Express for Xmas and I'm looking to trick it out a bit for home defense and tactical range work. Has a 21" barrel and I'd like to put a 3-rd extension on it w/matte black finish. Can't seem to pinpoint this specific one online. Any advice?

I know Choate makes magazine extensions for 20ga 870s. Never used one myself, but I'm sure you can find some impressions if you search through the forums here.

Was wondering what you did for your Mag Tube Ext ?
I ended up with an OEM REM +2, took a little while to get the coupler but all fits well.
I also added a CDM Gear 20-ga Tube/Barrel Support, nice product !
Actually the Support is a Rail Mount/QuickRelease Sling Mount but I am using it for a Mag Tube Support and Heat Shield Front Mount.
20-ga REM870, light weight Home Defense !

Sorry for the delay. Selling the barrel for a shorter one(posted in here via "WTS") and I'll go from there w/the mag choices. Will advise.
Thanks for the input.

Re: 20 GA mag extension advice.
UPDATE: Sold the 21" for an 18" and went w/a Vang Comp +2 tube. Not cheap but high quality and I'm told there's no need for a barrel clamp w/them, so that's one less component we need.
Cheers, YZ

Vang Comp makes 20ga extensions now? I can't find them on their website.
Anyway, I'd make sure you test that setup thoroughly. I tried one of Vang Comp's 12ga extensions, and wasn't very impressed with it.

They don't show it on the website. I contacted them directly. We'll see what happens when it arrives.
