+2 magazine entension needed

Post by elfdowney » Fri Jan 18, 2013 12:35 am

Well, I did it again!... Looks like I waited to long to order a Remington +2 magazine extension... all of my favorite gun sites are sold out of ANY +2's and now MidwayUSA says that Remington has stopped producing them... does anyone know where I can pick-up a +2 made by ANYBODY?... I'll order it first thing in the morning it they've got any in-stock.

Did you try calling Remington directly? They have a full parts department reachable through their customer service number. Tell them what you need and give them a credit card number and they'll mail it directly to you. I never go through third-party vendors for actual Remington parts.

Not sure who told you that Remington stopped producing extensions, but it sounds like bunk. Those extensions are standard equipment on a number of current-production civilian, police, and military 870 builds.
