night sights

Post by pruvit » Thu Apr 19, 2012 1:58 am

I have an old 870 Wingmaster and am having trouble finding Hi-Viz or TruGlo sights for the barrel. Everyting I find in the US market is for vent ribbed barrels...I need an over the bead sight or something else for my smooth barrel with a soldered-on bead (if there is such a product)...any suggestions?

Pruvit check out this thread in the upgrades and accessories forum section: http://www.rem870.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=225

Hi Viz sights are just fiber optic so they are not ideal for night especially in total darkness which would make them useless. I have preferred them for an easy to find bead in the daytime for pistols though.

glow in the dark fishing lure paint works. Alot cheaper than a Meprolight.
